How to get here
The easiest way to reach Borgo Mulino a Vento is by car. Located in the Salento, the southern Apulian countryside, the resort lies along a provincial road between Uggiano La Chiesa and Porto Badisco, around 3.1 miles from Otranto.
From northern Italy, take the A14 Bologna–Taranto highway to the Bari Nord exit, then continue on the SS16 Adriatica towards Brindisi-Lecce. From Lecce, continue on the SS16 towards Maglie and then follow the signs for Otranto/Uggiano la Chiesa.
N.B. Surrounded by nature, the resort is best enjoyed with a car, allowing you to easily reach nearby beaches and villages across southern Apulia.
The closest train station is located in Lecce. From here you can continue to Otranto or Uggiano la Chiesa by local bus or train. Alternatively, you can reach the resort by taxi or rental car, which we recommend for exploring the area with ease.
For guests arriving by air, the nearest airports are Brindisi Airport (BDS), approximately 59 miles away, and Bari Airport (BRI), about 124 miles from the resort.
From the airport you can reach Borgo Mulino a Vento by rental car or taxi (1 hour and 15 minutes from Brindisi and about 2 hours from Bari).
Since the resort is surrounded by countryside, we recommend renting a car at the airport or through the hotel to get around comfortably.
